Encourage Efficient Use of Public Transportation : Capital Bikeshare
We are thrilled to report that the Capital Bikeshare Station at DCA has seen a significant increase in ridership for 2022 . Specifically , the reports have shown a 64 % increase in the number of users compared to the same period of 2021 . This welcomed growth is a clear indication that the efforts have been successful , and the community has embraced this alternative transportation option . We are proud of the positive impact that the recent ridership numbers have shown and are looking forward to continued increase in ridership for 2023 .
Employee commuting program Approximately 38 % of employees working at the Reagan National Airport campus use alternative means to get to the Airport . These include Metro , car / van pool , and drop off / pick up .
