JULIET & MATTHEW
Neither drenching rain, lightning nor COVID-19, nothing is going to stop Juliet and Matthew from falling in love and getting married. The two were introduced just before the pandemic, but when the world shut down, they chose to meet at a local park to exercise together, spending hours talking and building a relationship. After dating for over three years, while on a family vacation to the beach, Matthew decided to propose. One evening, he convinced Juliet to go for a walk on the beach while his mother and sister set up the perfect proposal scene: candles, flower petals, a huge heart in the sand. When they returned from the walk, Juliet thought they had come up on a memorial, not realizing this was a proposal for her! She was shocked and happily said YES!
Since Juliet had family in Missouri, the couple decided to get married here and began to look for the perfect place to have their dream wedding. They saw some photos of the Venue at Shadow Rock and it turned out to be just what Juliet and Matthew had in mind for their wedding. Excited, she said,“ That is the one!” She always wanted an outdoor September wedding, and loved the ceremony space in the picturesque setting. Plus the indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to gather created just the right atmosphere for this fun-loving couple. With Juliet’ s roots in Missouri, the Venue at Shadow Rock was the ideal location for family and friends from all over the country to meet and celebrate. From Delaware to Arizona, Montana to California, this beautiful venue in the middle of the country was the just the right spot.
