The CAMPUS SAFETY DEPARTMENT is dedicated to the around-the-clock safety and security of all Stevenson students, faculty, staff, and visitors
Campus Safety is comprised of dedicated professionals and supervisors with a variety of public safety and Campus Safety backgrounds, including the Maryland State Police, Baltimore County and City Police, Baltimore County Fire, and EMS services. You’ ll often spot Campus Safety personnel driving their whiteand-green trucks with green flashing lights around campus.
Campus Safety personnel maintain an active presence on campus and are ready to assist you at any time— they are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Even when the University is closed, it is protected by Campus Safety. The Greenspring Campus is served by Campus Safety Officers during all hours that the campus is open.

If you need the assistance of Campus Safety, dial ext. 4500 on any campus phone or call 443-352-4500. This number is monitored 24 / 7 / 365. Outdoor emergency phones are also accessible from all campus buildings and parking lots.
SUALERT
SUAlert is STEVENSON’ S CAMPUS EMERGENCY TEXT AND EMAIL MESSAGING SYSTEM. SUAlert is an opt-in system, so you must sign up to receive emergency alert texts and / or email messages to your preferred email address.
All students are encouraged to sign up for both the text and email alert options in SUAlert. In the event of a campus emergency, including major weatherrelated campus closing and delays, SUAlert texts and emails will be the first way we will communicate information to our campus community.
