A RESIDENT DIRECTOR ( RD ) is a full-time staff member responsible for their assigned residence hall ( s ). The RDs work to establish a supportive and positive learning environment in the halls and provide leadership for student staff . They are responsible for supporting all residents and upholding community standards . Feel free to talk to your RD about personal or school-related issues , and share any ideas or suggestions you have to improve the campus community .
RESIDENCE HALLS are located on South Campus with close proximity to on-campus dining , campusto-campus shuttle services , and on-site 24 / 7 security . If you live in the residence halls , you can have a car on campus and park in the lots next to your building . Shuttle service is provided between campuses to make getting to and from classes easy .
