FINANCIAL AID
The Financial Aid Office at Stevenson University is here to help you through the process of funding your education .
Our website includes descriptions on the types of financial aid available , along with information about scholarships , grants , loans , and student employment . For information on how to apply for financial aid , tips for completing the FAFSA ( Free Application for Federal Student Aid ), policies and procedures , forms , federal and state aid , and FAQs , visit :

If you have not yet applied for aid from Stevenson , please see the step-by-step instructions under “ Apply for Aid ” posted on the Stevenson University Financial Aid website at :

MAINTAINING YOUR AID
Any kind of aid you receive includes certain requirements to remain eligible and to continue to receive the funds you have been awarded . Most awards require you to remain in good academic standing , to be enrolled in a specific number of credit hours , and / or to maintain a minimum grade point average . Awards may vary based upon your housing status . Please review the information on our Financial Aid website and in your offer letter , available on Self-Service at :
https :// selfservice . stevenson . edu / Student /
One requirement that can affect your aid almost immediately involves making changes to your schedule . Schedule changes can require an adjustment to your aid at the time you make the change and may cause you to have to repay funds . Pay attention to potential aid adjustments , which may occur if :
• You audit a class
• You add or drop a class
• You withdraw from all your classes
There are also regulations limiting the use of federal funds to pay for repeating a course .
Federal awards ( Pell Grant , Direct and PLUS Loans , Work-Study ) are need-based and the amount of the awards is determined by evaluation need when the FAFSA is processed . A FAFSA must be submitted each year , and awards may change from year to year if the financial circumstances change . The FAFSA is now available beginning October 1st for completion and our priority for completing the FAFSA each year is February 15th .
