Zedd - Beautiful Now ft. Jon Bellion

The video starts with short clips to introduce the characters. With these clips it then becomes aware to the audience that there will be no lip syncing. This video is pure narrative, Goodwin states that All music videos follow at least one of three structures in his thoery; this music video is evidence of that.

After these short clips, there is a certain emphasis of an older man at 0:31. He is in the middle of some sort of hill land, and he shoos his horse away, this then creates the basis of the music video, and it is also when the equilibrium is disprupted.

There are many eye level shots, however I was particularly interested in this high angle shot facing towards the ground, looking at the shadow of someone. In my opinion it adds to an atmospheric experience for the audience and to foward on the progression of the story and to furthermore incorporate a sign that the equilibrium is changing. todorov says that narrative has steps, and this music video gives his theory a meaning, when it explores several different people's stories at once, all with a starting point, a middle, and an ending.
