Back in June suspicions began to arise concerning one of the newest signees to Young Money Records. A violent incident concerning Young Money artist Widner Degruy (Flow) and a double homicide in New Orleans. Degruy was arrested Wednesday (July 1) and has since then been charged with two counts of murder in the second-degree. Another individual who was identified as Jonathan Evans was also taken into custody facing charges related to being an accessory to the crime. Evan's was picked up last Saturday (June 27) after being spotted with a firearm by a civilian. Days before detaining Degruy.

Degruy became a suspect after police found his cell phone at the scene of the double homicide; with police having suspicions of his whereabouts during the murder Degruy was thoroughly questioned prior to being let go even after his statements were found to be inconsistent. The artist known as Flow told the police that the brothers were giving him and another individual a ride to his home and planned to return after running an errand. Degruy told police that when the brothers did not return to his home he became suspicious and opened his front door, upon opening the door Degruy reported that he heard gun shots. After hearing the gun shots Degruy says he ran down the street only to find the brothers dead in their car. However, the police warrant documented on Degruy states that surveillance footage caught Degruy and a unknown individual running from the crime scene with an assault rifle.
