The reception from fans has generally been positive. Of course you have the butthurt folks griping about how Miss Fortune isn’t “heavy” enough to deserve to be on Sumerian. Apart from that bit of negativity, these guys are receiving praise and love which they are more than deserving of.
Rating- 4/5: I’m not sure why it took me so long to listen to these guys, but damn I’m glad I did. This wasn’t at all what I was expecting, I’m not sure exactly what it was I was expecting, but whatever it was this blew that out of the water. I seriously cannot say enough good things about it. It’s definitely something you can listen to no matter what mood you’re in and you’ll feel better. I wasn’t kidding when I said I listened to it for my entire work day either. It made my day so much less stressful. I haven’t stopped raving about Mikey’s voice either, dude has got pipes and he’s a complete doll! I’m very excited to see what 2014 holds for Miss Fortune! If you haven’t gotten their album already, why the hell haven’t you? It’s available on iTunes, Amazon, Best Buy, FYE, and their online merch store. Also check them out on tour with Hands Like Houses, SLAVES, and Alive Like Me starting May 23rd!
