Southwest Dance Party gears
up for February 2020
Next year’s Southwest
Dance Party is set to
take place Monday, Feb.
17 through Thursday,
Feb. 20 at Orleans Hotel
and Casino in Las Ve-
gas, NV.
Reservations

Fargo ND 58107. Seats
are sold on a first-come,
first-served basis.
There is a great selec-
tion of bands for next
year’s event, including
Gruber Family Band
from California; Zweif-
el Brothers from Wis-
consin; The Fugitives
from Manitoba, Canada;
Polka Power from Cali-
fornia; Polka Nuts from
Colorado; Julie Lee &
her White Rose Band
from North Dakota; and
Fr. Arnold Kari from
South Dakota.
These bands will be
alternating
different
days and times within
the four-day festival.

There will be two spe-
cial dances included in a
Tuesday, Feb. 18 ticket.
The Fugitives will host
a “Canadian Jamboree”
that afternoon, which
will cater to Canadi-
an dance styles. Bring
your Canadian flags and
maple leaves, and meet
other Canadians at this
event.
Later that evening, Ju-
lie Lee and her White
Rose Band will host a
singles dance, which
will cater to singles and
include all kinds of mix-
ers and line dances. This
event is back by popular
demand. All singles/so-
los are welcome to at-
tend and meet others.
