Moonlight Movies on the Beach

Find a spot, lay down a blanket or two and kick off your shoes. Movies on the beach offer the relaxing sounds of waves, cool breezes and killer sunsets and that’s all before the film starts. Moonlight Movies on the Beach will showcase “Finding Nemo’’ on Tuesday starting at 8 p.m. at Granada Beach. Alfredo’s Beach Club, 5101 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach continues the seasonal tradition through Aug. 30 with free family films.

Magnolia Park

Magnolia Park (651 W. 15th St., Upland) will show “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” at 8:45 p.m. on Aug. 8.

Street Food Cinema

Street Food Cinema hosts a multitude of outdoor screenings, pairing them with food trucks and live entertainment. Advance general admission is $13 and reserved seating is $18. Most are $16-$21 at the door. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with movies starting at 8:30 p.m. It will be showing several special anniversary movie screenings. Celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Audrey Hepburn classic, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” on July 30 at Will Rogers State Historic Park (1501 Will Rogers State Park Road, Pacific Palisades); the 30th anniversary of “Stand By Me” at the Syd Kronenthal Park (3459 McManus Ave., Culver City); the 30th anniversary of “Pretty in Pink” at Victory Park (2575 Paloma St., Pasadena); and the 10th anniversary of “The Devil Wears Prada” at the Glendale Central Park (201 E Colorado St.).
