Then , many film institutes opened up and many come out graduated and approached the DOPs to work under them and finally work independently . So I believe you fall into the second category , finishing Visual Communication and then moved to work under someone ?
KVA - Not only that , I actually did a B . Sc in Physics first . I learnt about optics and lens theory , which was part of the subject along with ancillary topics in chemistry . I learnt about cross processing , bleach bypassing and many more techniques . It helped me when I worked in labs during Mudhalvan , Khakee . I didn ’ t have
to know all the terms and concepts from chemistry . But while working with lab technicians , I was able to understand most of it while communicating . Studying B . Sc Physics and then Visual Communication , I felt I was in a right path , yet a different one . I studied the technicality in one , and the aesthetics in the other .
