James Alexander-Ellis has been a
Personal Trainer for 8 years and is
now a leading Strength Coach and
Prep Coach. He made his name in
the industry with fierce history of top
placings at WBFF Pro shows, where
he has competed as a Muscle Model
since 2013. James’ physique and stage
presence helped to typify this relatively
new physique category since he
emerged on the scene and now James’s
focus as a coach is on helping his
clients (whether they are regular gym
fanatics or starved fitness competitors)
lose body fat as quickly and healthily
as possible.
Fat Loss vs Weight Loss:
Everyone has their own personal
language for telling me that they want
to lose body-fat. Some guys say they
want to get ripped for a photoshoot.
Often, girls say they want to just ‘tone
up’ their arms or legs. Some just refer
to simple weight loss. Usually this
choice of wording is based on the
trainee’s exposure to certain types
of media, magazines or just hearing
what their friends say.
