A BIT ABOUT MURKY...
The Murky Drum & Bass brand was founded in early 2012 by Elsta. Initially created as a team of passionate like-minded DJs and MCs (Zork, Lloydizzle, Kingsley, Ren Dola and Elsta); to act as a platform to develop, grow as a team and push drum and bass music.
Elsta launched the first Murky D&B event back in March 2013, seeing Portsmouth graced by the unquestionably talented CRISSY CRISS alongside the hugely popular MR TRAUMATIK and other new exciting artists.
Not too long after the launch night Vinyl Richy officially joined the Murky team. With his knowledge of running events and experience within the D&B scene, he soon began co-managing the brand and events alongside Elsta.
Murky soon evolved into a popular event, a respected digital record label (Murky Digital ran solo by Elsta) and much more.
Today the MURKY SQUAD consists of Elsta, Vinyl Richy, Kingsley, T Dot and Ren Dola.
The Murky Squad continue to push themselves as DJs and MCs, individually and collectively creating a growing following, enabling opportunities to play
