CoolSpeak President Carlos Ojeda and Vice President Ernesto Mejia were emcees for the general session and led breakout sessions addressing cultural identity and cultivating motivational triggers to pursue higher education. Nicholas Carlisle’s No Bully breakout session gave educators insights to help their students establish social capitol as well as tools in creating a bully-free environment. Lt. Governor Cox tweeted: “Highlight of my year. [Seventeen hundred] multicultural Utah students coming together to celebrate diversity.” We extend appreciation to the MYLS sponsors; American Express, Chevron, Zions Bank and CoolSpeak.
