CREATING A TWITTER CAMPAIGN FOR VIDEO( Figure 2)
Each week, a Twitter campaign needs to be created for our“ What ' s Up” segment( and for any existing video).
Look for“ tweetable” generosity points and then tweet them throughout the week. Creating the Twitter campaign all at once will be the easiest method.
The only way to get action is to make sure that we exhaust the available video content and get it out there into the community.
Step 1: Take the video and your script and find all the possible“@ tags” and“ hashtags” that would be relevant for the video. There are no right or wrong answers. You have to take a second and research it( a great free resource is http:// Hashtagify. me where you can plug in a hashtag and see other ones that are relevant).
Examples for Grapevine Station Apartments’ videos:
1. General hashtags( ones you could use each week)- Remember to only use two hashtags per tweet( research shows that is the best formula). a. # GrapevineTX b. # Events c. # WUG( start using for these videos--your own identifier)
