Called back for a dubious PI, the Miners got a 1st and goal on the 1 yard line. After false starting on the first play to back them up 5 yards, the QB scrambled and some poor tackling meant he reached the end zone for their second touchdown. The 2 point conversion was successful on the last play of the game. Final score 13-14 Miners. Defeat was hard to swallow knowing they’d come so close but the Royals aren’t letting it get to them. Next up is the Bendigo Dragons and both teams are coming for that win. A few words from the coach... “I’m happy with both teams. They both put in 100%. I have to give to give credit to the guys on the line for a long day in the mud, especially those who played both ways.
