Editorial Column Simon Spiteri In this issue among the U17 and U15 results we will clarify and give you brief information why the Informal certificate is important for young players attending secondary level school and how is achieved. Some parents haven’t yet understand the important of sports at an early stage for their kids and still think that sports is an obstruction to their academicals educational. However this is proved wrong sports and football must have their equal portion, A physical educational exercise is the key to success. Parents must focus more on TIME MANAGMENT - when a parent create a balance for their child between sports and academicals educational they are more organised and the chance to success in Sports and School is higher. While we hope you enjoy another edition of Mtarfa FCYN Magazine, we invite parents to support their children during their league matches and festivals not only as supporters but helping their children to be in time well dressed and with a good amount of water. September was another vital month for our nursery – with the commencement of Under 17 and under 15 Knock Out competitions, their respective National league games and with back to training for all young ages from summer Holidays for Boys and Girls age 4 to 13 years. Last month edition, we emphasised on the use of shin guards both during training and games. Although there are few kids that persist on taking the risk and to ignore our constantly caution advise for safety, the majority turn out for their first training session in full kit and shin guards.
