Veteran's Day was recognized with all of Ralls County R-II students coming together for an assembly to recognize and pay tribute to those in the past, present and future who serve to protect our country. Two faculty members shared their personal stories regarding service or waiting for service persons to return home. The band played patriotic songs, elementary choir sang, and the VFW presented the flags in a honorable ceremony.
The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education announced the Annual Performance Reports for all Missouri School Districts in November. Congratulations to all students, district employees and everyone supporting our students in one way or another! This year's Annual Performance Report showed improvement once again. Our school earned 137 out of a possible 140 points for a total district percentage of 97.9%. Last year our school earned a 97.1% or 136 out of 140. We are stepping closer to the perfect 100%. The annual report from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education measures accountability in academic achievement, college and career readiness, graduation rates, and attendance.
