at Mt Stirling
On stunning sister resort Mt Stirling a range of initiatives are
being implemented to further enhance the visitor experience.
– – All winter long the lights will stay on and the coffee
kept hot without any negative environmental impacts
with the installation of a micro-hydroelectricity system,
working on water pressure generated from a turbine
and nearby stream and weir.
– – The revamped Mt Stirling Cafe at Telephone Box
Junction has become renowned as a cosy haven for
weary adventurers - a place to grab a hearty and
healthy bite, a warming coffee, and some great local
advice on activities and snow conditions.
– – XC skiers and snowshoers will find it even easier to
explore our winter wonderland with trail realignment
improvements.
