After Tommy Thornton ’ s first IT company went bust , he moved and started over , founding Automates in 2014 . “ We were broke and back at zero ,” Thornton said . “ We moved in with family where we shared a small room for over 12 months , surviving off welfare and family support .”

In 2019 , he celebrated $ 270,000 gross revenue and hired his first two employees . But by 2021 , his growth was stagnant with nothing in the pipeline until joining TMT in May 2022 . “ In came Robin Robins and the TMT team to the rescue ,” Thornton said . Within the first four hours , with only a few TMT videos under his belt , Thornton closed on $ 77,000 of new ARR . He finished off 2022 with 14 new clients , $ 33,000 in new MRR , $ 1.9 million in total gross revenue , $ 400,000 profit , and 21 % NOI ( Net Operating Income ). “ I cannot put a price on what TMT and the entire community has meant to me ,” says Thornton . “ I am no longer a prisoner in my own business . 2022 started off rough for Konrad Martin , CEO of Tech Advisors . After losing six clients to acquisitions in 2021 , the firm started the year down nearly one million dollars . “ We couldn ’ t afford to lose any more clients ,” Martin said . “ Our MRR was down , and our revenues were plummeting . But we knew we had a solution — Technology Marketing Toolkit , something we ’ d been using for years . . . to get new clients , more revenue , better growth , and to make ourselves the authority .”
