Finally, Jeremy DeFrance, COO at Syscom Business Technologies, an MSP in Sterling Heights, Michigan, says that with 365 Ops,“ we have a system that not only enables us to deliver exceptional service but also enhances transparency. Our clients can see our efforts, comprehend their significance, and trust us more as a result.”
Gary Pica, chief community officer and founder of TruMethods, which Kaseya acquired, puts the Kaseya 365 franchise into perspective.
“ User and Endpoint changed the unit economics of the industry. So it had an impact on profitability. But it also changed what [ MSPs ] could deploy. They could afford to deploy a full stack across every endpoint and every user. So that ' s a massive change. What Ops is about is connecting everything now, so that the main goal can be accuracy [ and ] efficiency— getting the same results from an engineer who ' s been with you 3 months as [ the one ] who’ s been there three years.”
He adds,“ But it ' s not just what ' s in this stack. It’ s also how automations and AI can connect to Endpoint, User, and other [ Kaseya ] products … This is a big piece moving forward in the ability to make AI actually usable.”
New Managed SIEM Ups MSPs’ Security Game
Kaseya 365 Ops was just one of two major announcements the company made at Connect. The second was the new Kaseya SIEM( security information and event management), a managed solution that provides a streamlined, unified response system for customers with SaaS Alerts and MDR protection. The SIEM correlates threat data from RocketCyber and SaaS Alerts, combining endpoint and cloud telemetry to deliver unified, faster, and more actionable threat detection.
The new Kaseya SIEM brings together the RocketCyber MDR and SaaS Alerts platforms, creating a single managed solution, says Lippie.
“ This is very exciting for us, because we recognize that our customers are looking for one place to see all their security events, and we ' re going to be able to deliver that,” Lippie says.
“ It ' s a managed product where we ' re going to help them configure Kaseya SIEM, optimize the platform for their business, and then ultimately alert the MSP when there are significant security issues they need to pay attention to for their customer,” Lippie says. And by leveraging SaaS Alerts,“ then we ' re creating automated responses on behalf of them.”
He continues,“ Right now, between the two platforms, we’ re collecting about 500 million security events a day.” The Kaseya SIEM uses machine learning“ to leverage the responses in a respond module that will only be enhanced in later iterations.”
Relentless Focus on Innovation
Lippie says Kaseya will release another edition of Kaseya 365 in September.
“ I call what we ' re doing with Kaseya 365 a franchise— each one builds on the last,” he explains.“ There ' s something new and different about each one, but there ' s a thread weaved between all of them.”
Summing up, he says,“ As we move forward, innovation is at the heart of everything we do. What we unveiled at Connect 2025 delivers on that vision. These innovations allow our customers to improve their businesses and fight against growing cyberthreats.”
