Spring is the season that reinvigorates and rejuvenates. It’s a season of growth and new beginnings in nature, and in our lives and career opportunities. Spring is finally in the air, unless you’re in the North, then winter has decided to overstay its welcome.
It could just be the bitter cold that makes things feel so slow and dreary, but it seems like job seeking reaches a standstill in the winter. Spring is finally here, and whether it’s completely mental or the season of growth, now is a great time to revive your job search.
Start by evaluating yourself. Ask questions about if you’re truly happy where you are, where you want to be, and what you need to do to get to where you want to be. These questions will be the starting point of your job search rejuvenation.
Set new goals for yourself, and write them down. Put these goals in a place that you’ll see often. These will be a daily reminder and motivator to keep hustling. Work on your personal branding with head shots, and decide what your personal mission statement is.
