The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) understands that it is part of one team with one mission, and is working with industry, nonprofit, and philanthropic leaders to help transitioning Servicemembers, Veterans, and their families succeed in all aspects of their lives.

As part of VA Secretary Robert A. McDonald’s MyVA initiative, VA is partnering with public and private organizations to provide programs and resources focusing on transition, employment, and education to meet the specific needs of transitioning Servicemembers and Veterans. Below is a list of VA partnerships available to help you achieve your professional goals:

Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN)

CASY & MSCCN provide no-cost training, assessments, and one-on-one direct job placement services for transitioning Servicemembers, Veterans, and military family members. CASY & MSCCN connect employers with these screened & qualified candidates through a high-touch program customized to meet each company's individual needs.

Coursera

Coursera is an education platform that works with top universities and organizations worldwide to offer free online courses. Coursera offers more than 800 online courses in high-demand fields like finance, programming, and project management. Through its partnership with VA, Coursera is offering Servicemembers and Veterans one free Verified Certificate.

Coursera and VA are also teaming up with the American Red Cross and The Mission Continues to launch Learning Hubs across the country, which combine online and in-person study to promote interactive learning experiences for Veterans.
