HOT JOBS

Can you tell us more about the Economic Liaisons?

Economic Liaisons are committed to supporting the Veterans in their communities, the communities where they live and work. They are selected because of their knowledge of private sector, economic and local community knowledge. Liaisons understand both the challenges local Veterans face and the most successful ways to meet those needs.

Liaisons work to raise awareness among local employers about the value of investing in Veterans. They encourage area colleges, universities, and technical programs to help Veterans use their education benefits to gain the skills needed for career success. They also make connections with community organizations that serve Veterans to maximize the organization’s impact.

Atlanta, Georgia; Buffalo, New York; Chicago, Illinois; Cincinnati, Ohio; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Dallas, Texas; El Paso, Texas; Honolulu, Hawaii; Houston, Texas; Jacksonville, Florida; Kansas City, Missouri; Las Vegas, Nevada; Los Angeles, California; Louisville, Kentucky; Miami, Florida; Nashville, Tennessee; New York, New York; Norfolk, Virginia; Phoenix, Arizona; Richmond, Virginia; Riverside, California; San Antonio, Texas; San Diego, California; Seattle, Washington; St. Louis, Missouri, and Washington, D.C.

VECI supports the idea that VA is part of one team with one mission. We are working with partners from all levels — local, state, and national — to serve our Veterans.
