As an applicant you want to stand out to potential employers. With the Job Seeker profile, your application will be featured above any non-premium members’ applications. Being at the top of the list will help you to get noticed and draw attention to your profile.
Who’s viewed your profile
With a free profile, you can only see the last 5 viewers who were interested in your profile if you have the setting enabled. The Premium Account, however, allows you to view profile views from the previous 90 days without giving up any privacy settings. As a premium member, statistics also tell you which keywords viewers used to get to your profile. Insights like viewer industry and location and top 30 keywords can help you to further optimize your profile.
Applicant Insights
This fancy feature allows you to compare yourself to your competition for a specific job. With applicant insights you can see how many people applied for the job, overall applications over time, how you stack up against your competition based on your LinkedIn® profile as well as how you compare to other applicants based on seniority level, education, skills, and more.
While the monthly fee is certainly not cheap, premium accounts allow for a more targeted and intensive job search and application process. With a free month (and a free year for military members and Veterans), any jobseeker can TRY OUT these features!
