Entrepreneurship for Transitioning Warriors Online Program
VetToCEO’s Entrepreneurship for Transitioning Warriors online program was designed by experienced entrepreneurs
who are also veterans, exclusively for veterans of all branches and transitioning members of the military interested in
exploring entrepreneurship.
The three main components of VetToCEO’s Entrepreneurship for Transitioning Warriors program are the (1)
Introductory Program, (2) Core Entrepreneurship Program and (3) VetToCEO’s Community Portal.
Introductory Program
VetToCEO’s self-paced Introductory Program consists of three, online learning
modules and an entrepreneurial self assessment that provide the knowledge and
skills required for starting a business, buying a business or seeking more
meaningful employment and addresses the following:
Why do veterans make good entrepreneurs?
How can veterans best manage their career transition?
What is the entrepreneurial process and how is it applied?
Entrepreneurship Program
VetToCEO’s eight-week entrepreneurship program is specifically tailored to veterans and is facilitated by experienced
veteran entrepreneurs. The webinar-based program enables veterans to attain the following objectives:
Construct a viable business plan based on the military planning model framework: Situation, Mission, Execution,
Logistics, Command and Signal
Develop a business plan summary and investor presentation.
Develop an initial set of financial statements and a funding strategy.
Complete a complimentary Gust startup profile (www.gust.com) where potential investors may review your business
plan.
Community Portal
VetToCEO’s veteran entrepreneur community portal is an online platform that
centralizes all content, communications and activities for the
Entrepreneurship for Transitioning Warriors program and provides a
wealth of veteran-centric, entrepreneurial resources including:
Self-paced, online modules for veteran entrepreneurs
Veteran success stories, news feeds and resources
Discussion threads, forums and tools
A community of veteran entrepreneur mentors and peers
