Brief Description of Assistance Received:
My husband showed me MSCCN’s website. After I registered, Micki Auten contacted me. She has given me a lot of help and support since then. She instructed me on how to fix my resume. Taking her advice, I took the virtual resume writing class and learned the skills of writing a resume. She continuously communicated with me through emails, and gradually what I wanted to do and what I could do became clearer.
After I had several interviews and was rejected, Micki encouraged me not to give up, and she sent me many resources that taught me how to prepare for an interview and what to do in the interview. Those links and references were really helpful for me.
Result of Assistance:
I was offered and accepted part-time work as a Retail International Ambassador at Hershey's Chocolate World.

I have to say I’m so grateful for Micki. She is very kind, patient, and professional. I feel I’m lucky to have met her and gotten her instruction. When I got the call from Hershey, Micki was the first person with whom I shared the great news!
I learned and got so much during the process. I didn’t just get a part-time job. I’m also improving my English. I learned how to express myself in an interview. And I’ll learn more about America culture and make more friends now that I can work.
