HOT JOBS

Additionally, our partnership with National Guard Bureau has provided employment assistance for National Guard State Commands nationwide through the National Guard Employment Network (NGEN). Several of these states provide assistance to Reservists and veterans as well. Our role in these partnerships is to provide training, support and technology services. The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) and Joining Community Employment Partnership (JCEP) are key partners in this program for the National Guard.

The Veterans Administration and local DOL Workforce offices also have employment assistance that can provide support and guidance. Workforce has many programs that provide veterans with funds to cover training or certifications they need to move into employment outside the military. CASY & MSCCN work with these partners to help prepare, support, train, and move our military-affiliated job seekers into positions that match their skills, qualifications, and needs. Together, we have become force-multipliers for one another, increasing placements for those within our military and veteran communities.

2.PPP with training partners: It is no secret that many of our military and veterans face gaps in skills or training/certification as they look to find civilian employment. Training partners such as IBM, St. Michaels Learning Academy & SAP, the Occupational Safety Council Association (OSCA), Claim Vets, VettoCEO, MilSpo Project, help us provide much-needed gap skills training necessary to move military, veterans, and military family members into positions. State and local Workforce (Dept. of Labor) are big-time supporters of military, veterans, and military spouses, too. Without trainings/certifications supported through these partners, employers typically overlook great military and veteran candidates.

3.PPP with nonprofits: Our nonprofit partners are a great asset in helping our folks with transition through support services. We know that transition is about more than a job; it is transitioning your life, seeking assistance at all levels while you make necessary changes for the benefit of you and your family. We seek partners that will support you just like we support you. Organizations like Military Musters, Easter Seals – Dixon Centers, Macho Spouse, Esposas Militares Hispanas USA Armed Forces, Army Week, Team RWB, eMentor, Military Spouse Foundation, Warrior Summit Coalition, and many others provide great services needed during the transitions we face.

Partnerships are an important part of our ability to better serve you and your family. The next time you see an article on a CASY & MSCCN partnership do not skip over: read it!
