Furthering Our Efforts to Support You!

As we finish out 2015 and look to the New Year, it is a great time to reflect on our work and recognize the outcomes made possible by the help of our partners. Some may see partnerships as unnecessary but, at CASY & MSCCN, we take partnerships seriously because our mission--helping people from our military and veteran communities find employment--is too big for any one organization or agency to accomplish on its own. You heard “it takes a village to raise a child”; well, I can tell you the same is true for helping our military-affiliated job seekers find meaningful employment that matches their skills and needs. It takes more than one organization to make it happen.
We embrace partnerships for the powerful outcomes they provide for those we serve, and we take the responsibility to our communities seriously, vetting each partner to ensure they are reputable and provide services that yield positive outcomes for our applicants. All vetted partners work inside our Public-Private Partnership Network (PPPN) and share the commitment we have to our military-affiliated job seekers. Together, we work to expand employment opportunities for all those within the military and veteran communities, identify and make
available gap skills and certification trainings that facilitate placement, and provide support services to help meet other needs that you might have.
There are three types of partnerships that we have seen really make a difference for those we serve.
1.PPP with military/government agencies: Military Family Centers and Transition Assistance Centers offer great support services to those seeking employment. We rely on our relationships with Soldier for Life, Army Reserve, Marine for Life, and our military installations to provide employment readiness services to our transitioning military or military family members so that we can focus on gap skills training or direct placement with our employer partners.
