March 9, 2015 IBM® i2® Analyst’s Notebook® Training
On March 9, 2015, CASY, with their partners from IBM, hosted Veterans from all branches of service at Texas A&M University in San Antonio for no-cost IBM® i2® Analyst’s Notebook® training thanks to a generous grant from IBM! IBM, Citi and JP Morgan Chase also support this initiative by providing employment opportunities.
CASY will host additional IBM® i2® Analyst’s Notebook® trainings during 2015.

About IBM® i2® Analyst’s Notebook®
IBM® i2® Analyst’s Notebook® is a visual intelligence analysis environment that can optimize the value of massive amounts of information collected by government agencies and businesses. Ideal Candidates
Military candidates have a myriad of unique attributes that enhance their ability to have a successful career in the field of data analytics. Given this, we have identified over 490 Military Operational Specialties (MOS) and 47 high frequency skills, which translate into the 11 pinpointed areas of expertise, 15 core skills, and 5 desired education and certification attributes that meet industry demand.

Registration Process
1. Go to the i2 Training Calendar and make a note of the requisition (req)# associated with the training session you wish to attend
2. Register or login to the CASY registration system at www.casy.us
3. Click on "Search Openings"
4. Enter the relevant req# in the "keyword" block
5. Apply to req by clicking the submit button at the top
6. Complete the 3 assessments that will be sent to you after you submit your resume
7. If you pass your assessments, you will be invited to a phone interview as the final step to securing a spot in the training
