Camp host volunteers are being sought for five campgrounds on Big Oak Flat and Tioga Roads and at Bridalveil Creek on Glacier Point Road. These are remote campgrounds in the High Sierras. Three are primitive with vault toilets and no potable water and are not recommended for RVs or trailers. Hosts receive shirts, hats, jackets, name tags, and a campsite with a fire ring, picnic table and food storage locker. Hosts handle check-ins, answer visitor questions, and handle minor issues. Lake Roosevelt stretches 133 miles and was formed by Grand Coulee Dam on the Columbia River. The park is seeking hosts for 7 of its 18 standard campgrounds.
