The dinner tables showcased a simple yet elegant design, featuring colorful candles that added warmth and vibrancy without overwhelming the space. Complementing the candles, a single-stem floral design was carried throughout the tables, encouraging intimacy and conversation among guests.“ I wanted the decor to be simple and inviting, to encourage guests to communicate and enjoy each other’ s company,” Emma Kate explained.
“ Marshall Miller went above and beyond what I could have ever imagined or dreamed of,” said the bride.“ It couldn’ t have been done without Mrs. Donna and Mrs. Beth’ s talent and attention to detail. These ladies took exactly what I wanted and brought it to life.”
Adding a unique artistic touch, the couple requested Leanne Peek to be their live wedding painter. Set up at the reception, Leanne captured the magic of the day on canvas, allowing guests to stroll by and watch the beautiful artwork come to life throughout the evening.
Guests savored a delicious Southern feast catered by Smokin’ Temptations, owned by Rusty Griffin. The menu featured classic favorites including crispy fried chicken, tender whole hog barbecue, creamy mashed potatoes, green beans, and rich macaroni and cheese. For those who stayed late into the evening, a special treat awaited-the bride’ s favorite, homemade corn dogs, delighting guests with this nostalgic comfort food.
The reception was held under a glowing white tent, strung with twinkling lights from Lights, Sound, Action, who also kept the dance floor lively with a perfect mix of music for all ages. As the celebration continued into the night, guests were treated to a magical firework display over the Sundown pond, a stunning finale to an unforgettable evening.
Jenna Lindsay Photography, alongside her assistant Hudson Folsom, captured every heartfelt moment of the day-from the emotion of the ceremony to the joy of the reception. The couple’ s cakes, both masterpieces in their own right, were crafted by Courtney Thompson. The bride’ s four-tiered cake featured smooth white buttercream frosting with each tier offering a unique flavor: carrot, strawberry, key lime, and vanilla. The groom’ s cake, a whimsical nod to his love for deep-sea fishing, was a red velvet creation styled as a Yeti cooler, topped with a Mahi-mahi fish.
Following their wedding celebration, Emma Kate and TZ will make their home in Lee County, Georgia, where TZ works at and helps lead the family business, Zane Grace Construction. Emma Kate continues to work in Moultrie at Southern Regional Technical College, balancing her career with her new life. The couple looks forward to building their life together in the community that has supported them from the start.
From heartfelt vows to fireworks over the water, Emma Kate and TZ’ s wedding day was a true celebration of love, family, and Southern charm-a perfect beginning to their forever. n
