suited them best.“ It was important to me that my girls felt comfortable and happy with what they were wearing,” Emma Kate shared. This thoughtful touch added a personalized elegance to the bridal party’ s cohesive look.
The bride and her bridal party had their hair beautifully styled by Leah Braswell and Ashley Eure of Magnolia Salon, while their flawless makeup looks were created by the talented team at Ivey Esthetics in Thomasville, Georgia.
The ceremony’ s color palette featured an elegant combination of black, white, and lush greenery, creating a sophisticated and timeless ambiance. Floral design was masterfully crafted by Marshall Miller Designs, who also created all the bouquets and groom’ s boutonnieres, seamlessly tying together the classic aesthetic with hints of vibrant greenery throughout the church sanctuary.
First Baptist Church’ s sanctuary was beautifully adorned with two large floral arrangements designed by Marshall Miller Designs, positioned on each side of the baptismal pool in the choir loft, serving as a stunning backdrop for the ceremony. Adding to the graceful details, the church’ s outer doors leading into the sanctuary were decorated with squared boxwood wreaths accented by delicate white sashes, welcoming the couple and their guests with understated charm.
The church was filled to capacity, hosting over 400 guests who witnessed the heartfelt union. Traditional hymns filled the sanctuary, with music provided by Cindy Tyus on piano, Debbie Whittley on organ, and Jake Thompson on trumpet. Beloved hymns such as Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing and How Deep the Father’ s Love for Us were beautifully performed by vocalists Lynn and John Griffin, adding a personal and worshipful tone to the sacred celebration.
Following the ceremony, guests were transported in style via a charming trolley from Mike’ s Limousines in Tallahassee, Florida, to the reception at Sundown Farms Plantation in Moultrie, Georgia-an idyllic Southern venue owned by Jenna and Benji Alderman. The reception, which also welcomed over 400 attendees, was flawlessly directed by Dafney Jarvis and designed by the talented team at Marshall Miller Designs, led by Donna Marshall and Beth Miller. Emma Kate envisioned a seamless transition from the ceremony’ s classic elegance to a vibrant and joyful evening celebration. She requested pops of color-orange, pink, red, purple, and greenery-to enhance the evening atmosphere.
