Downtown Moultrie looks forward to continued growth

“ Moultrie is excited to express the newest additions to downtown . With the return of Second Saturday , the Sunbelt Ag Expo and the updated breezeways , there is more to Moultrie than ever ,” Moultrie Marketing Specialist Caroline Barber said . Moultrie and Downtown Moultrie in particular is about to wrap up one of the best years it has had in a long time . In 2021 , more than a dozen businesses have taken the time to improve the facades of their buildings , making Moultrie look better than it has in years . The centerpiece is the Colquitt County Courthouse , which looks phenomenal after receiving a fresh coat of paint . Since the year began , nine new businesses have opened , bringing more than 20 jobs to the community . We are absolutely thrilled to see such growth and beautification in the heart of our town , knowing there is more to come .

and overwhelming support of the community , Downtown Moultrie is thriving . We did not know what this year would hold . With so many question marks on things such as staffing shortages , unreliable delivery times , and what would happen with COVID , many were concerned starting off the year . While certain things remain uncertain , one thing is clear , with the love and support Downtown Moultrie receives from the community , it will keep growing and improving . I would like to say thank
