It was like strolling through an enchanted forest is the way one guest described the wedding reception of Libby Bruce and John Baker . To start the festivities , the ceremony took place at Norman Park First Baptist Church . The focal point was a beautiful cross adorned with an array of white blooms that gave the appearance of organically growing from the base , up the main beam and bending to encompass the right arm of the cross . It was flanked by two large matching floral arrangements . At the base of the cross was another pair of arrangements . Libby and John each dedicated one to the memory of someone that had been very special to them .

Moonlight Bridal exudes elegance with a vintage flare . This one-of-a-kind gown was customized by the designs from their couture collection in ivory . The front of this dress is accentuated with a deep , sweet heart neckline with floral lace straps . The bodice of the dress is adorned with floral lace and embroidered , scattered appliqués on tulle and organza . Crystal buttons drop from mid-back down past the hips . The train is fully detailed with floral lace appliqués and a horsehair trim . The bridesmaid dresses are from Lidia Formal ’ s Kanali K collection in the dusty blue color . Bridesmaids handpicked their dresses . Each one was a different style in chiffon material . Just a short walk through downtown Norman Park to About Thyme Creative Catering Company , owned by Libby ’ s mother and where Libby and John first met , they were treated to a private dinner . After enjoying their meal and a little time to take in their momentous day , they were chauffeured in a vintage Cadillac by Bruce Norton , Mayor of Norman Park to their reception at Sundown Farms Plantation where they were greeted by hundreds of their friends and family .
Libby and John ’ s wedding could easily be featured on the pages of Garden and Gun as it was inspired by their love of nature and the time they spend together outdoors . Carrie Long , mother of the bride , and her team at About Thyme Creative Catering Company served the meal . It was beautifully
