Color was a pivotal element in shaping our wedding aesthetic . We wanted to break away from tradition and infuse our celebration with a vibrant assortment of hues .
Each table setting featured colored glass , and all of the bridesmaids wore a different style and color of dress . Our floral arrangements , made by Shannon Pitts and her team , were central to bringing it all together . Shannon was someone who I knew immediately that I wanted to work with . I loved her approach to floral arrangements and knew that she would be able to execute my vision flawlessly .
She thoughtfully incorporated different blooms , colors , and textures in my bouquet that tied everything together perfectly .
Thanks to the dedication and efforts made by our parents and family , Nicole Vines , and Amanda Holt , our wedding weekend surpassed all expectations . It was a day that was filled with laughter , happiness , and moments of profound joy that will remain etched in our memories for ever . We are indebted to each vendor for their invaluable contribution in crafting a wedding day that was nothing short of magical . n

Reverence and love for our family is central to our relationship , so it was important to both Burton and I that we incorporated elements into our wedding ceremony that pay tribute to the narratives and heritage that define us . Burton ’ s grandmother , Sarah Hart Brown , first wore the lace veil that I wore on our wedding day in 1960 . She and her late husband , Alexander “ Sandy ” Brown , were married for over 60 years , and they exemplified the enduring power of love , commitment , and mutual respect . Likewise , my wedding band was set by Griner Jewlery with diamonds that once adorned my great-grandmother Catherine Brannon Campbell ’ s wedding set .
