Doerun Municipal Court is held at 5 p. m. the third Monday of each month at Doerun City Hall.
Magistrate court, once known as Small Claims Court, deals with disputes that can be worked out without having to go to a higher court. Civil disputes up to $ 15,000 are handled here. The chief magistrate also issues arrest and search warrants.

Colquitt County State Court handles misdemeanor cases and traffic cases taking place outside the city. Jury trials are held four times a year.

Moultrie Municipal Court hears misdemeanor cases for offense alleged occurring within the city limits. Sessions are held on Thursdays at the Justice Center at the Colquitt County Sheriff’ s Office on Veterans Parkway.

The probate court handles decedent estates, temporary guardianships of minors and incapacitated adults, marriage licenses and marriage ceremonies, and firearm licenses.
