On behalf of the Sports Authority of Thailand( SAT), I would like to extend a warm greeting and officially welcome all of you to Chang International Circuit and PT Grand Prix of Thailand once again. Over the past six years, the ThaiGP has been one of the greatest sources of pride for the Thai people. Since the very first year that Thailand stepped onto the MotoGP stage, we have demonstrated our energy, creativity, and determination to ensure that the Thai round is unlike any other in the world. This year also marks the second consecutive year that the ThaiGP has the honor of hosting both the season opener and the Pre-Season Test— further reaffirming Thailand’ s capabilities on the global stage.
The total attendance of 224,634 spectators last year reflects the passion of both Thai and international fans for motorsport. It also highlights the collective strength of collaboration across all sectors such as public and private as well as the unwavering support from fans around the world. Their warm hospitality, distinctive cheering culture, and the Thai charm imbued throughout every aspect of the event have created an unforgettable experience.
In 2026, our commitment remains steadfast: the ThaiGP will not be just an exciting race on the track, but a stage full of character and emotion that wins hearts. We will harness Thailand’ s Soft Power across multiple dimensions— from artistic and cultural expressions to our iconic cuisine, as well as complementary activities such as Muaythai, concerts, and local showcases. These experiences will allow visitors to truly feel the essence of Thailand. We believe these elements are powerful strategies that present a positive and lasting image of Thailand to motorsport fans around the world, while making the ThaiGP uniquely different from any other circuit in the world.
We are also confident that the ThaiGP will serve as an important platform to ignite passion and inspire young Thai who love motorsport— encouraging them to dream big and pursue careers as professional riders. Every cheer, every flag that waves, and every expectant gaze is a force that drives Thai motorsport athletes to reach greater heights on the world stage.
Finally, I hope that all fans will cheer with all their hearts and fully enjoy the competitions and the many supporting activities we have dedicatedly prepared.
