Ogura

Ai Ogura’ s pathway to the world stage gathered momentum through the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup, where steady progress quickly turned into race wins and a runner up finish. Parallel success in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and JuniorGP followed, highlighted by victories, podiums and pole positions. A full time step into Moto3™ delivered consistent points scoring and regular top ten results, before a standout 2020 season produced seven podiums and a late title challenge.
Promotion to Moto2™ in 2021 marked another step forward. Ogura impressed immediately, finishing eighth overall as a rookie. He emerged as a title contender in 2022, winning three races before late season crashes denied him the crown. After a tougher 2023, a switch to Boscoscuro machinery proved decisive. Three wins and strong consistency secured the Moto2™ World Championship in 2024. A confident MotoGP™ debut followed in 2025. Now entering his second premier class season, Ogura targets regular top six finishes and podium contention in 2026.
