Marco Bezzecchi emerged as a front runner in domestic Moto3™ competition before stepping onto the world stage, quickly establishing himself as a title contender. A full time Moto3™ campaign followed in 2017, with regular podium finishes laying the foundations for a major breakthrough in 2018. Nine podiums, including three victories, placed Bezzecchi firmly in the championship fight and earned promotion to Moto2™.
