Pedro Acosta’ s ascent through the junior ranks was rapid and emphatic. Success in Pre Moto3™ paved the way to JuniorGP and the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, where consistent podium finishes marked him out as a leading prospect. A Rookies Cup title in 2020 set the stage for a full time Moto3™ debut with Red Bull KTM Ajo. Impact was immediate. Multiple victories, including a remarkable pitlane to win ride at Doha, underpinned a commanding rookie campaign and the Moto3™ World Championship.
Rather than jumping straight to MotoGP™, Acosta progressed to Moto2™, where history continued. Victory at Mugello made him the youngest race winner in the class, and a second Moto2™ title followed with seven wins. His MotoGP™ debut in 2024 confirmed the hype, delivering multiple podiums and a sixth place championship finish. Progress continued in 2025 despite KTM challenges. Entering 2026, Acosta targets his first MotoGP™ victory and a full title challenge.
