TECHNICAL OVERVIEW
Second overall in the manufacturers ’ standings in 2024 but still without a Grand Prix win since 2022 , Austrian manufacturer KTM retain Brad Binder and his insight into the RC16 but promote Pedro Acosta into the factory squad . Acosta , in his rookie season , hit headlines last year with his podiums and pole at Motegi as well as his off-track charisma and straight-tothe-point attitude . KTM brought some updates and small steps are what it takes in the world ’ s most exciting sport . Continuity is also key though and Pedro Acosta has that on his side , with Paul Trevathan moving with him from the Tech3 outfit . Experience of other brands , however , also has some key value in MotoGP and as Acosta moves to the factory squad , the incoming Red Bull KTM Tech3 line-up of Enea Bastianini moving from Ducati and Maverick Viñales moving from Aprilia makes for an interesting prospect as KTM look to refine their RC16 .
