The 2020 MotoGP Champion has had a tougher time since joining Honda , with the project struggling to find its feet just as he had started to establish himself as a frontrunner in MotoGP . Since then , there have been some ups and downs , but the hard work behind the scenes for Honda is clear . Mir , for his part , signed up to remain with the project and keep pushing to take them back towards the top . The key goal will likely be more consistent finishes as HRC chip away at moving forward again , as well as some solid hauls of points as Mir looks to edge out teammate Luca Marini and the now-experienced Johann Zarco in the Honda rivalry .
