Johann Zarco rose through the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup before stepping onto the world stage in 2009. Early success followed, including runner up honours in the lightweight class, before a switch to Moto2™ defined his career. After steady progress, Zarco hit his peak in the intermediate class, securing back to back Moto2™ World Championships in 2015 and 2016 and becoming the first rider to defend the title. A move to MotoGP™ in 2017 delivered instant impact. Podiums and pole positions marked an outstanding rookie season, followed by further success with Tech3 Yamaha. Later factory KTM struggles led to a career reset, but a Ducati switch revived his form. Regular podiums with Pramac established Zarco as a consistent front runner. His long awaited first MotoGP™ victory arrived in 2023. A move to Honda followed, where Zarco delivered landmark success at Le Mans in 2025. He enters 2026 aiming to continue leading Honda’ s resurgence.

Sus primeros éxitos incluyeron el subcampeonato en la categoría ligera, antes de que su paso a Moto2™ definiera su carrera. Tras una progresión constante, alcanzó su mejor nivel en la categoría intermedia con dos títulos consecutivos en 2015 y 2016, siendo el primero en revalidar la corona. Su llegada a MotoGP™ en 2017 tuvo impacto inmediato. Los podios y poles marcaron una gran temporada de rookie, seguida de más éxitos con Tech3 Yamaha.
