¿ Dará Aprilia más sorpresas ?
Tras conseguir en Argentina su primer triunfo en MotoGP™ , los responsables de Aprilia creen que la fábrica puede volver a repetir su éxito este año . La RS-GP 2022 es la mejor Aprilia de MotoGP™ hasta la fecha , con una mejora en velocidad punta y paso por curva . “ Puedo frenar tarde y afrontar la curva a una velocidad muy alta . Funciona bien ”, dijo Aleix Espargaró . El CEO de Aprilia , Massimo Rivola , cree que el objetivo es reducir constantemente el margen con el ganador de la carrera . “ Con Aleix así y Maverick llegando , podemos ser muy competitivos en algunos circuitos . Lo bueno es que estamos reduciendo cada año la diferencia con el líder . En 2019 terminamos a una media de 30 segundos ( del ganador de la carrera ) al final de la carrera . Fueron 20 segundos en 2020 y 10 segundos en 2021 . Y ahora estamos muy cerca , así que el objetivo era estar a 5 segundos ( de distancia ). Quizá a final de temporada logremos ese objetivo ”.

Having scored its first MotoGP™ triumph in Argentina , figures at Aprilia believe the factory can repeat its success again this year . The 2022 RS-GP is the best MotoGP™ Aprilia to date , with enhanced top speed and turning . “ I can brake late and make very high corner speed . It works well ,” said Espargaro . Aprilia CEO Massimo Rivola believes the target is to consistently reduce the gap to the race winner . “ With Aleix like that and Maverick coming , we can be very competitive in a few tracks . The good thing is we are reducing every year the gap from the leader . We finished on average 30s ( from the race winner ) in 2019 at the end of the race . It was 20s in 2020 and 10s in 2021 . And now we are very close so the target was to be 5s ( off ). Maybe at the end of the season we ’ ll match that target .”
