Motorsport has never been so good for France , as two of its riders prepare for a MotoGP™ championship battle that could go all the way . Fabio Quartararo travels to Germany keen to extend his 14-point championship lead over countryman Johann Zarco after a tricky race in Barcelona , which culminated in a disappointing sixth place .
Quartararo doesn ’ t have a decent record at the Sachsenring , but showed great promise there in 2019 , the last time the MotoGP™ championship visited the historic venue , even if he crashed out in the race . Zarco also has never excelled there in the MotoGP™ class , but scored a first and second place there in his Moto2™ championship years in 2015 and 2016 .
Jack Miller could also be a name at the front as he sits third overall . Team-mate Francesco Bagnaia will be looking to bounce back from a tricky
