“ We must keep this confidence that we have this capacity to go fast. We have done a lot since many years and even we don ' t have any more winter break because the three months I did is longer than a winter break. The way I process my rehabilitation, I feel that I was ready.”
Zarco was able to train on a street bike before returning at Aragon. After a short period of adaptation, he was able to quickly get back up to speed.“ It was not a nice surprise because I feel that when I was training the speed was there,” he said.
“ That ' s why it ' s good to stop only three months and not six months. On the CBR, I had some problems to readapt. Like 15 minutes was very strange, but then I was back in business. I know the MotoGP and that it’ s better to start immediately fast.”
The time away also confirmed the LCR rider’ s love for what he does.“ Maybe the fresh thought was I still want to race and still want to race to perform. When I’ ve seen all the guys struggling, I was not missing this moment. I was thinking, almost it’ s good to stay at home because it’ s very hard to struggle. But now I have this fresh feeling of I want to dream to have this great result.”
