For those at the top , surely the only way is down . That doesn ’ t seem to be the case at Ducati , who appears to have solidified its # 1 status in the early rounds . The Italian manufacturer scored an incredible 700 points from an available 728 in the Constructor ’ s Championship in 2023 . And lead riders Pecco and Jorge Martin believe the Desmosedici GP24 is even better than last year ’ s bike .
The ’ 24 Ducati has a new engine with added power , as well as revised aerodynamics , which provide greater braking stability . During testing , riders felt they have lost a little agility . Yet the results don ’ t lie , with Bagnaia , Martin and Bastianini winning every race so far bar one .
One small area of concern was a vibration issue with the rear tyre that persisted through the early races . Yet this was fixed after the Jerez test and recent races have shown Ducati is even stronger than before with four of its riders can fight for the title . Its electronics package and smooth power delivery is the envy of the paddock . Once again , the Bologna factory finds itself tremendously placed to match last year ’ s feats .

Il motore , nuovo , è più potente . L ’ aerodinamica , rivista , garantisce maggiore stabilità in frenata . Già dai test pre campionato , la sensazione dei piloti era di aver perso però in termini di maneggevolezza . Poco importa , perché nel 2024 , salvo rari casi , le moto di Borgo Panigale hanno vinto a ripetizione con Bagnaia , Martin e Bastianini .
Qualche problemino c ’ è stato , con una noia provocata da una vibrazione al posteriore durante le prime gare . Il problema è stato risolto nei test di Jerez : di lì in poi , non ce n ’ è stato più per nessuno . Il pacchetto elettronico garantisce un ’ erogazione fluida , con netti vantaggi in fase di accelerazione . Insomma , Ducati ha le carte in regola per fare bene e ripetere le imprese dello scorso anno .
