There was plenty to admire in Alex ’ s first year with Gresini Ducati in 2023 : the former Moto2™ and Moto3™ World Champ won two Sprints , claimed two further podiums and finished ninth overall – his best championship placing to date by five places . Inconsistency and injury stopped it from being even better . Now , racing alongside his brother in the same team for the second time , and fully up to speed on Ducati machinery , he ’ ll be expected to challenge for top six finishes – and occasionally more – each weekend . Preseason performances were impressive , meaning he ’ s another of the year ’ s dark horses .
Hubo mucho que admirar en el primer año de Alex con el Gresini Racing en 2023 . El Campeón del Mundo de Moto2™ y Moto3™ ganó dos Sprints , consiguió otros dos podios y terminó noveno en la general , su mejor clasificación en el campeonato hasta la fecha con diferencia . Sin embargo , la inconsistencia y las lesiones le impidieron ser aún mejor . Ahora , compitiendo junto a su hermano en el mismo equipo por segunda temporada , y totalmente al día con la maquinaria Ducati , se espera que luche por terminar entre los seis primeros - y ocasionalmente más - cada fin de semana .
