Most riders will arrive on Thursday, and it’ s media day. TV interviews for your home broadcasters and outlets around the world, a Press Conference and our special MotoGP™ programming all cover the latest breaking news and headlines from inside the paddock. Gearing up is the name of the game. And then it’ s go time.
FRIDAY
Friday is the day you come through the gates and take your seats, or find the best place to watch from, as track action gets underway. For MotoGP™, FP1 in the morning is a session to get familiarised with track conditions and see where the level is at. It’ s the same for Moto2™ and Moto3™, before the even more important stuff fires up in the afternoon. For MotoGP™, it’ s a 60-minute session to decide the top ten, who move through automatically to Q2 qualifying on Saturday morning. Those who don’ t make the cut get a second chance to move through in Q1, where the top two will join the already selected ten for the pole position shootout. So Practice is a big finish to Friday.
Moto2™ and Moto3™ follow the same format as MotoGP™, with Friday afternoon’ s Practice session deciding the top 14 who are automatically in Q2. The rest are in Q1.
Het begint op donderdag, de dag voor persconferenties en ' GearUp '-voorbereiding, wat inhoudt dat we je op de hoogte brengen van de laatste nieuwtjes en ontwikkelingen binnen de paddock. Er is een voorbeschouwing van de ronde in een podcast met een speciale gast, waarna we overschakelen naar de persconferentie. Hier krijgt de internationale geaccrediteerde media de gelegenheid vragen te stellen aan geselecteerde coureurs..
VRIJDAG
Vrijdag is de dag dat je door de hekken naar binnen komt en op je plaats gaat zitten, of op zoek gaat naar de beste plek om te kijken, terwijl de actie op de baan op gang komt. Voor MotoGP is de vrije training( FP1) ' s ochtends een sessie om vertrouwd te raken met de omstandigheden op de baan en te zien wat het niveau is. Dat is hetzelfde voor Moto2™ en Moto3™, waarna ' s middags het belangrijke werk begint.
Voor MotoGP™ is dat een sessie van 60 minuten waarin de top tien wordt bepaald, die zich automatisch plaatst voor de Q2-kwalificatiesessie op zaterdagochtend. Degenen die daar buiten vallen, krijgen een tweede kans in Q1, waarvan de top twee wordt toegevoegd aan de top tien voor het gevecht om poleposition. Beide sessies duren 15 minuten.
